Denver’s comedy scene is booming. The city has definitely “got the comedy goods”, and talent is improving at a rapid pace, with many comics getting booked nationally in comedy festivals and several Denver comedians have appeared on popular television shows in recent years.

Unfortunately, aspiring comedians in Colorado Springs have had far less opportunities to practice, perform and perfect their craft, which has done little to bolster the comedy scene in Colorado Springs. Besides the only single, run-down comedy club in town, comedy fans and professionals alike have not had much else to choose from besides making the trek up to Denver to attend a quality show.

Long-time Springs resident and comedian, Tim McKenna, recognized a need in the community and has begun work to promote comedy shows at a variety of venues in hopes to strengthen the overall comedy scene. His aim is provide our city with better access to top-quality entertainment and to support local talent in every way possible.
